PIXELS

Small decisions to shine bright in a dark world.

Pixels: Jesus

What is a pixel? A pixel is one element that works together to bring the bigger picture together. With that in mind, we begin with the Jesus Pixel, the most important. Jesus must be at the center of everything we do. If we are to shine bright in a dark world.

PIXELS: Holiness

This week we begin talking about the foundational pixels, with the holiness up and ready to go. What does it mean to be holy? We examine this and so much more as we continue through Pixels.

PIXELS: Multiplication

The gospel must multiply. We must spread the gospel. This week we look at our next foundational pixel, multiplication.

PIXELS: Humility

Our next foundational pixel is humility. What does it look like to get good at humility? Why must we practice humility? It isn’t just simply being “humble” there is much more to it.

PIXELS: FORGIVENESS

Forgiveness isn’t just something that is encouraged, it is foundational to shining brighter in a dark world. We cannot allow are ability to share the gospel, grow as followers of Jesus, to be stymied because we are chained to the darkness of unforgiveness. Let’s breakthrough together as we examine this foundational pixel on Easter Sunday 2021.

Pixels: Faith

It’s time to move into the first of our inner pixels, Faith. What does it look like to live by Faith? It starts by defining the word, then exploring how living by Faith is an excellent way to display the Love of Jesus.

Pixels: Praise

Worship doesn’t just exist in a vacuum. Our next inner pixel is praise. Jessica, our worship leader breaks down one of the biggest weapons we have been blessed with is our ability to praise the one who gave it all. This is how we fight our battles.

PIXELS: Student

None of it matters if we are not becoming students of the word. What if we read the bible as much as we eat? What if we became the experts of the Gospel so the world can see the Love of Jesus?

PIXELS: Prayer

What does your prayer life look like? Our next inner pixel is the pixel of prayer. Who are you talking to? Our relationship with God is essential to being movers and reflections of God’s love to the people of this world.

Bonus Pixel: Mother’s Day

This bonus pixel is brought by Pastor Noelani Jai as she gives us new lenses to approach how we see the areas in our lives that God is calling attention to so that we can live differently from our human nature and differently from the world!

Pixels: Rest

We have to learn how to take a rest. We have to be able to understand the balance of moderation. Sabbath isn’t a requirement, its a gift.

Pixels: Community

It’s time to branch out into our outer pixels, the first-up, Community. Community is where it starts, where the light begins to shine brightly. Community isn’t just something we have, it’s something we are created for. It is essential.

Pixels: Hospitality

None of it matters if the Love of Jesus doesn’t shine through how we take care of those around us. This week we talk about our next outer pixel, hospitality.

Pixels: Contagious Living

The way we live should be contagious. People should want to live the way we do. What we do and how we display the Love of Jesus matters. We study this in our next outer pixel.

Pixels: Serve

Sean Hamilton leads us in a powerful word about being present. Are we here when we serve? Or are we “there”? This next outer pixel is all about being present where God has asked us to be.

Pixels: Justice

Woah there Batman. What does it look like to practice biblical justice? It may not be as you think. Our next outer pixel is justice. What does it look like to bring justice to the world through our words and our actions?

PIXEL: Suffer

Our final pixel is here! We finish out this pivotal sermon series by examining what it means to suffer well. The truth is, we all will suffer, followers of Christ and non-believers alike. So what’s the difference? What SHOULD be the difference?
